The new Seamless Skin Enhancing Tint, and Sculpt and Shade Lip Pencils, are here, and I’ve got thoughts.
Seamless Skin Enhancing Skin Tint
I grabbed the shade T12, which has a Neutral Golden Undertone. There are 18 shades of the new skin adaptive Skin Tint, with varying undertones. I wear 22 in the Seamless Skin Foundation, and the chart on the brand’s site said T11 would work for me, and T12 works if I want a more golden look.
Since her first launch, skin friendly ingredients are something Lisa has incorporated into her products. I can’t always say that was the case, but now it is. The other thing Lisa has been dedicated to is inclusivity. Because of that, nuances in skin tones were considered in the Enhancing Skin Tint, and Shade and Sculpt Pencils.

This Seamless Skin Enhancing Tint does have light coverage. Lisa suggests using 2 drops, but that didn’t feel like enough to cover my face. I used a couple of more, in my jawbone area. Especially with tints, I prefer to use my hands to apply. But for my review’s sake, I used my hand on one side of my face, and a brush on the other. Both applied seamlessly.
My Skin Tint Experience
The finish is GORGEOUS!!! The tint is buildable, and gives really good coverage, for a tint. It gives my skin such a healthy glow. Now, I love a glowy base, but not one that is too overwhelmingly glowy. This Seamless Skin Enhancing Tint is the perfect, natural, medium. It’s your skin, but better! Now, it didn’t hide all my sins, but that’s okay.
One of the things I love about getting older is self-acceptance. Do I love the hormonal blemishes on my skin? No! However, I’ve fully come to accept my skin, even as I work to improve it. Overall, I think my skin is in really good shape, despite the problem areas. However, skin tints come with lighter coverage, so if you’re someone who wants/needs more coverage, that is always something to consider. I’ve never liked heavy makeup. I’ve always preferred a more natural look, so this new Lisa Eldridge Skin Tint is completely up my alley.
The Enhancing Skin Tint lasted on me for 8 ½ hours. It held up much better than I expected. I got a little oily in my t-zone, but the coverage, overall, was still really good. I did not experience creasing under my eyes. This might last longer than any tints I have. Another beautiful winner for Lisa Eldridge.
Sculpt and Shade Lip Pencils
I got Sculpt and Shade Lip Pencils in 1N 3C and 3W. Now, I have a couple of the original Enhance and Define Lip Pencils from Lisa Eldridge Makeup, but when they described these new pencils as “skin-true tones” I was instantly intrigued. Lisa said she wanted a range of lip pencils that, “took into consideration the intensities and undertones of the skin, and lips.” I’m a self-professed dark brown lip liner lady. It’s a 90s thing. I know many black women in my peer group who still love a dark liner look.

The pencils are matte, creamy and ready to be smudged. They come in cool, neutral and warm undertones. Frankly, you can easily find options in all three groupings. Each pencil has real staying power too. What a pleasant surprise to see the pencils last almost the full length of the skin tint wear. I sipped water throughout the day and it was only dinner the pencil couldn’t overcome.
Left to Right 1N, 3C, 3W
Each lip pencil was worn with a different Lisa Eldridge lip product. I combined 1N with Velvet Muse, 3C with the Affair Velveteen Liquid Lipstick and 3W with the Go Lightly Gloss Embrace. I did love all three combinations, I must say.

Seamless Skin Enhancing Tint Comparisons
The most obvious difference between the Lisa Eldridge Seamless Skin Foundation, and the Skin Enhancing tint is the coverage. Lisa’s Foundation is one of my top 3. It has the most magical mesh technology, that pulls the face together in the most interesting way. Your foundation looks better as the day goes on. It also has a natural matte finish.
The Skin Tint is not full coverage, however it is buildable, and I was quite impressed with the coverage it gave me. It has a glowy finish, and the wear is not as long. The Westman Atelier Complexion Drops X is the best comparison skin tint I have, and have had questions about. The WA tint has a much glowier finish, and doesn’t have as much coverage as the Lisa Eldridge Enhancing Tint. It also doesn’t have the same last time as Lisa’s tint.
Honestly, this is a fantastic release from Lisa Eldridge Makeup. I highly recommend it. My maturing 46 year old skin took to everything beautifully.
