Guerlain has just released 40 new Rouge G Satin and Velvet lipsticks, and 9 Rouge G lipsticks cases. They also recently released their latest Sun-kissed Healthy Glow Powder, in SuperBloom. I’ve got some thoughts below!
Guerlain Rouge G Lipsticks

Both the Rouge G satin formula, and velvet formula, are absolutely beautiful. I bought 3 of the 24 satin lipsticks that were released, and 1 of the 16 velvets. It’s easy to get lost in the sheer number of lipsticks, but there are enough shades to appeal to all skin tones. Per the brand, the satin formula is a minimum 89% skin care based, while the velvet formula is a minimum 81%. The formula includes sweet almond oil that fosters moisture, smoothing and plumping. Both formulas feel incredibly pleasant on my lips.
Rouge G Le Tonka Hale Velvet
Tonka Hale is the one Velvet lipstick I bought. I have other velvets from Guerlain, and I just think the formula is divine. They are very creamy velvet mattes. Unlike some velvet/mattes that can feel drying, these feel moisturizing on the lips. And, the color!!! This is the most gorgeous orange/brown shade on me. As someone who doesn’t love reds, orange are the perfect alternative for me.
Rouge G Le Brun Intense
Le Nude Brun Intense is what I’m calling a beautiful hot cocoa. It’s a yummy, rich, dark brown, with a beautiful sheen. This is a shade I find always flatters brown skin, so I’m quite the fan.
Rouge G Le Nude Intense Satin
Le Nude Intense is a berry shade on me, in natural light. Under the camera lights, it reads more red. As someone who is not a big lover of red lipsticks, I’m thrilled it does wear more berry on me, in every day lighting. This is a beautiful shade that suits my skin tone perfectly!
Rouge G Le Beige Praline Satin 131
Rouge G Le Beige Praline is a beautiful peachy nude on me. This shade is not always the easiest for me to wear, because of my pigmented lips, but in natural light, I think it is an easy, pretty, nude for me. I also have the option of wearing a lip pencil. One potential negative is it did sink into the fine lines of my lips, a little, but simply using my finger to blend in the color corrected the issue instantly.

Guerlain Rouge G Le Camel Lipstick Case & Comparison Swatches
The limited edition, SuperBloom healthy glow powder, has been a yearly treat over the last few years. This year’s design is a bee, the brand’s symbol, in the most beautiful brown, peachy and magenta shades. This bronzer has finely milled gold flecks.
It leaves the skin with the most sophisticated glow. Typically, I like to wear these products as finishing powders, because it’s too close to my skin tone to wear as a bronzer. However, this year, they’ve made the bee with such lively colors, I can wear it as a blush. It is GORGEOUS on me! The only downside is because the bronzer is a lighter color, and I’m not sure how far the colors will extend to deeper skin tones.
Along with the 40 new lipsticks, Guerlain also released 9 new lipstick cases. I purchased the camel, pebbled, faux leather case. Camel has always been a luxurious color to me, it was the chicest new case I saw. Above, I showed it with 2 other cases I got last year. They’ve changed the design just a little this year. Also pictured are swatches of the different Guerlain Rouge G lipsticks I have, swatched with the newest shades.
